Beautiful brain images take over Times Square

Brain City, this beautiful film by Noah Hutton made from neuroimagery collected at leading brain science labs, will screen in New York City just before midnight on Times Square’s massive electronic billboards every night this month.

“Neuroscientists around the world are mapping the brain, discovering that much of its structure and organization bears an uncanny resemblance to the cities we live in,” Hutton writes.

The complementary Brain City site maps the regions of the brain onto New York City locations, and vice versa.

More details on Brain City at the Times Square Alliance.
